South Dakota High School Basketball - Sully Buttes overwhelms Highmore/Harrold
January 9, 2025: Highmore, SD 57345 The Sully Buttes Chargers basketball team scored 71 points and limited the host Highmore/Harrold Pirates to 46 in the Chargers league triumph on Thursday.
The Chargers now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Ipswich for a B Region 6 game on Tuesday, January 14. Sully Buttes will confront a Tigers team coming off a 52-48 non-league loss to Warner (Warner, SD). The Tigers record now stands at 3-4.
With the loss, Highmore/Harrold falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Faulkton (Faulkton, SD) to confront the Trojans in a B Region 6 game on Tuesday, January 14. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 3-5. Faulkton lost 62-56 in their recent league game against North Central (Eureka, SD)
