Kennedy Titans (Fremont, CA) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Newark Memorial Cougars (Newark, CA), 64-60 in a league match.

With the victory, Kennedy advances its record to 5-10 on the year. The Titans travel to Moreau Catholic (Hayward, CA) to meet the Mariners in a Mission Valley match on Tuesday, January 14. The Mariners enter the match with a record of 11-2. Moreau Catholic won 83-65 in their recent league match against Washington (Fremont, CA)

The Cougars now own a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host James Logan for a Mission Valley match on Tuesday, January 14. Newark Memorial will meet a Colts squad coming off a 63-61 league win over Irvington (Fremont, CA). The Colts record now stands at 5-11.
