Michigan High School Basketball - Mott can't hold off Marine City
January 9, 2025: Marine City, MI 48039 Marine City Mariners (Marine City, MI) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Mott Marauders (Warren, MI), 67-64 in a league match.
With the victory, Marine City upgrades its record to 2-4 on the year. The Mariners travel to Almont (Almont, MI) to face the Raiders in a non-league match on Monday, January 13. The Raiders enter the match with a record of 2-6. Almont lost 55-33 in their recent league match against Imlay City (Imlay City, MI)
The Marauders now sport a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marysville for a Macomb Area - Silver match on Wednesday, January 15. Mott will face a Vikings squad coming off a 57-43 league loss to Center Line (Center Line, MI). The Vikings record now stands at 3-8.
