The Smith Valley Bulldogs (Smith, NV) basketball crushed the visiting Sage Ridge Scorpions (Reno, NV), 61-30 in Thursday's league bout.

The Bulldogs now possess a 12-1 record. They play next when they travel to Pyramid Lake for a 1A West bout on Tuesday, January 14. Smith Valley will play a Lakers team coming off a 73-40 league win over Sage Ridge (Reno, NV). The Lakers record now stands at 10-6.

With the loss, Sage Ridge falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Scorpions host Pyramid Lake (Nixon, NV) to play the Lakers in a 1A West bout on Friday, January 10. The Lakers go into the bout with a record of 9-6. Pyramid Lake won 56-31 in their recent league bout against Excel Christian (Sparks, NV)
