January 9, 2025: Sparks, NV 89436 Spanish Springs Cougars (Sparks, NV) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting McQueen Lancers (Reno, NV), 51-20 in a league match.
With the victory, Spanish Springs advances its record to 16-0 on the year. The Cougars host Reed (Sparks, NV) to face the Raiders in a match on Monday, January 13. The Raiders enter the match with a record of 7-8. Reed won 50-24 in their recent non-league match against Truckee (Truckee, CA)
The Lancers now own a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Reno for a match on Monday, January 13. McQueen will face a Huskies squad coming off a 50-45 league win over Bishop Manogue (Reno, NV). The Huskies record now stands at 11-4.
