The Brevard Blue Devils (Brevard, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Chase Trojans (Forest City, NC), 54-14 in Thursday's league bout.

The Blue Devils now possess a 3-6 record. They play next when they host Patton for a 1A/2A Mountain Foothills 7 bout on Tuesday, January 14. Brevard will play a Panthers team coming off a 42-30 league loss to R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 3-11.
