In Thursday's league test, the McFarland Cougars (McFarland, CA) basketball squad trounced the visiting Kennedy Thunderbirds (Delano, CA), by a score of 54-19.

Next, the Cougars encounter the Delano Tigers (Delano, CA) in a South Sequoia test, on Tuesday, January 14. McFarland will attempt to improve on its 7-13 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 3-7 record after their 37-28 league win over Wasco (Wasco, CA).
