The Washington Union Panthers basketball squad (Fresno, CA), was nudged 35-28 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Kerman Lions (Kerman, CA)

With the victory, Kerman advances its record to 14-4 on the year. The Lions host Selma (Selma, CA) to meet the Bears in a Tri-County - Kings Canyon battle on Tuesday, January 14. The Bears enter the battle with a record of 6-5. Selma lost 53-38 in their recent non-league battle against Reedley (Reedley, CA)

The Panthers now own a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kingsburg for a Tri-County - Sequoia battle on Tuesday, January 14. Washington Union will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 41-35 league loss to Exeter (Exeter, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 7-7.
