New York High School Basketball - Lackawanna overwhelmed by Williamsville South
January 9, 2025: Lackawanna, NY 14218 The Williamsville South Billies walloped the host Lackawanna Steelers basketball team by a tally of 52-31 in Thursday's league game.
The Billies now possess a 1-4 record. They play next when they host West Seneca East for a Section 6 Erie County II game on Tuesday, January 14. Williamsville South will play a Trojans team coming off a 65-33 league loss to Iroquois (Elma, NY). The Trojans record now stands at 3-4.
With the loss, Lackawanna falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Steelers host Pioneer (Yorkshire, NY) to play the Panthers in a Section 6 Erie County III game on Thursday, January 16. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 1-1.
