In Thursday's non-league test, the Las Plumas Thunderbirds (Oroville, CA) basketball squad got by the visiting Quincy Trojans (Quincy, CA), by a score of 39-34.

Next, the Thunderbirds encounter the Yreka Miners (Yreka, CA) in a non-league test, on Friday, January 10. Las Plumas will attempt to improve on its 7-6 season record. The Miners come into the test with a 8-8 record after their 47-30 non-league win over Oroville (Oroville, CA).

The Trojans (8-3) will now prepare for their test against Biggs (Biggs, CA). The Wolverines come into the Mid-Valley test with a 11-2 record. In their last test, Biggs held off Corning (Corning, CA), 42-33, in a non-league test.
