South Dakota High School Basketball - Mt. Vernon/Plankinton nips Tri-Valley
January 9, 2025: Mt. Vernon, SD 57363 In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Mt. Vernon/Plankinton Titans basketball team scored a close 44-39 win over the Tri-Valley Mustangs.
The Titans (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Garretson (Garretson, SD). The Blue Dragons come into the non-league contest with a 0-6 record. In their last contest, Garretson was tipped by St. Mary (Dell Rapids, SD), 44-27, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Flandreau Fliers (Flandreau, SD) in a A Region 3 contest, on Friday, January 10. Tri-Valley will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The Fliers come into the contest with a 4-3 record after their 39-34 non-league win over Castlewood (Castlewood, SD).
