Indiana High School Basketball - Tri-County routs North Newton

In Thursday's league contest, the host Tri-County Cavaliers basketball team scored a big 52-14 win over the North Newton Spartans.

The Cavaliers (14-1) will now prepare for their contest against Seeger (West Lebanon, IN). The Patriots come into the non-league contest with a 7-9 record. In their last contest, Seeger was trounced by Clinton Prairie (Frankfort, IN), 53-47, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Spartans battle the West Central Trojans (Francesville, IN) in a Midwest contest, on Friday, January 10. North Newton will attempt to better on its 5-11 season record. The Trojans come into the contest with a 11-6 record after their 65-9 non-league win over Hebron (Hebron, IN).
