In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Rivercrest Colts basketball team scored a close 78-72 triumph over the Osceola Seminoles.

The Colts (10-7) will now prepare for their contest against Walnut Ridge (Walnut Ridge, AR). The Bobcats go into the 3A Region 3 contest with a 4-10 record.

In their next game, the Seminoles confront the Manila Lions (Manila, AR) in a 3A Region 3 contest, on Monday, January 13. Osceola will attempt to better on its 2-8 season record.
