January 9, 2025: Westminster, CO 80030 Westminster Wolves (Westminster, CO) supporters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Pomona Panthers (Arvada, CO), 66-26 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Westminster advances its record to 7-4 on the year. The Wolves travel to Riverdale Ridge (Thornton, CO) to face the Ravens in a 6A/5A/4A Rocky Mountain match on Tuesday, January 14. The Ravens enter the match with a record of 5-4. Riverdale Ridge lost 45-41 in their recent non-league match against Millard West (Omaha, NE)
The Panthers now own a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jefferson Academy for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 14. Pomona will face a Jaguars squad coming off a 66-29 non-league win over Arrupe Jesuit (Denver, CO). The Jaguars record now stands at 6-2.
