In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Emerald Ridge Jaguars basketball team scored a close 36-34 triumph over the Bethel Bison.

The Jaguars (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Graham-Kapowsin (Graham, WA). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 6-7 record. In their last contest, Graham-Kapowsin nipped Curtis (University Place, WA), 25-10, in a non-league contest.
