Virginia High School Basketball - Narrows defeats Eastern Montgomery
January 9, 2025: Elliston, VA 24087 The Narrows Green Waves (Narrows, VA) basketball were winner over the host Eastern Montgomery Mustangs (Elliston, VA), 29-21 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Green Waves now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Giles for a non-league bout on Monday, January 13. Narrows will play a Spartans team coming off a 49-24 non-league loss to Auburn (Riner, VA). The Spartans record now stands at 2-4.
With the loss, Eastern Montgomery falls to 1-8 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Radford (Radford, VA) to play the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Monday, January 13. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Radford won 40-37 in their recent non-league bout against Patrick County (Stuart, VA)
