January 9, 2025: Piedmont, CA 94611 Berkeley Yellowjackets (Berkeley, CA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Piedmont Highlanders (Piedmont, CA), 2-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Berkeley moves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Monte Vista (Danville, CA) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league test on Saturday, January 11. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 0-1. Monte Vista lost 1-0 in their recent league test against Carondelet (Concord, CA)
The Highlanders now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host Castro Valley for a test on Tuesday, January 14. Piedmont will clash with a Trojans team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to College Park (Pleasant Hill, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 0-1.
