January 9, 2025: Pinckney, MI 48169 The Pinckney Pirates basketball team scored 55 points and limited the visiting Ypsilanti Grizzlies to 51 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Pirates now have a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Jackson for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 14. Pinckney will confront a Vikings team coming off a 48-36 non-league loss to Adrian (Adrian, MI). The Vikings record now stands at 0-4.
With the loss, Ypsilanti falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Grizzlies host Tecumseh (Tecumseh, MI) to confront the Indians in a non-league game on Monday, January 13. The Indians go into the game with a record of 0-0.
