January 9, 2025: Delano, CA 93215 The Chavez Titans (Delano, CA) soccer nipped the visiting Taft Wildcats (Taft, CA), 1-0 in Thursday's league challenge.
The Titans now hold a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Delano for a South Sequoia challenge on Monday, January 13. Chavez will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Wasco (Wasco, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 5-5.
With the loss, Taft moves to 6-6 on the year. The Wildcats host Shafter (Shafter, CA) to encounter the Generals in a South Sequoia challenge on Friday, January 10. The Generals go into the challenge with a record of 3-6. Shafter lost 1-0 in their recent league challenge against Delano (Delano, CA)
