The Alma Cardinals (Alma, NE) basketball trounced the visiting Norton Bluejays (Norton, KS), 60-31 in Friday's non-league test.

Next, the Cardinals clash with the Amherst Broncos (Amherst, NE) in a C2 District 11 test, on Tuesday, January 13. Alma will attempt to improve on its 10-1 season record. The Broncos come into the test with a 8-4 record after their 74-48 non-league win over Overton (Overton, NE).

The Bluejays (3-5) will now prepare for their test against Oakley (Oakley, KS). The Plainsmen come into the Mid-Continent test with a 4-3 record. In their last test, Oakley was routed by Decatur Community (Oberlin, KS), 50-40, in a non-league test.
