The Norton Bluejays basketball team scored 71 points and limited the visiting Southern Valley Eagles to 59 in the Bluejays non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bluejays now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Russell for a Mid-Continent game on Friday, December 19. Norton will confront a Broncos team coming off a 71-53 non-league loss to Pratt (Pratt, KS). The Broncos record now stands at 2-2.

The Eagles (1-5) will now prepare for their outing against Ravenna (Ravenna, NE). The Bluejays come into the non-league outing with a 2-2 record. In their last outing, Ravenna was defeated by Kearney Catholic (Kearney, NE), 61-37, in a non-league outing.
