Hampton Hornets (Hampton, GA) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Ola Mustangs (McDonough, GA), 52-49 in a league match.

With the victory, Hampton advances its record to 4-10 on the year. The Hornets travel to Eagle's Landing Christian Academy (McDonough, GA) to face the Chargers in a AAAA Region 2 match on Saturday, January 10. The Chargers enter the match with a record of 6-8. Eagle's Landing Christian Academy won 94-60 in their recent league match against Jones County (Gray, GA)

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Stockbridge Tigers (Stockbridge, GA) in a AAAA Region 2 contest, on Saturday, January 10. Ola will attempt to better on its 0-13 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 4-11 record after their 64-50 league loss to McDonough (McDonough, GA).
