The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Myrtle Point Bobcats (Myrtle Point, OR) and the host Monroe Dragons (Monroe, OR), observed Myrtle Point's basketball team edge Monroe by a score of 44-37.

The Bobcats (9-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Central Linn (Halsey, OR). The Cobras come into the non-league challenge with a 1-9 record. In their last challenge, Central Linn was nudged by Harrisburg (Harrisburg, OR), 45-31, in a non-league battle.
