In Friday's league game, the Parkwood Wolf Pack (Monroe, NC) football team were victorious over the visiting Forest Hills Yellow Jackets (Marshville, NC), by a score of 39-29.

The Wolf Pack (3-1) will now prepare for their game against West Stanly (Oakboro, NC). The Colts come into the 2A/3A West Conference 44 game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, West Stanly was knocked off by Eastern Randolph (Ramseur, NC), 33-3, in a non-league game.

The Yellow Jackets now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Anson for a 2A/3A West Conference 44 game on Friday, October 8. Forest Hills will meet a Bearcats team coming off a 20-14 non-league win over Union Pines (Cameron, NC). The Bearcats record now stands at 2-3.
