Ohio High School Soccer - St. Edward knocks off Avon Lake
October 1, 2022: Avon Lake, OH 44012 St. Edward Eagles (Lakewood, OH) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Avon Lake Shoremen (Avon Lake, OH), 4-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles confront the Berea-Midpark Titans (Berea, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 3. St. Edward will attempt to move on its 6-4 season record. The Titans enter the challenge with a 5-8 record after their 4-0 non-league loss to Hilliard Davidson (Hilliard, OH).
The Shoremen now possess a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they host Olmsted Falls for a Southwestern challenge on Wednesday, October 5. Avon Lake will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 6-3 non-league win over Firelands (Oberlin, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-4.
