In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Thayer Central Titans volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Falls City Tigers.

The Titans (17-4) will now prepare for their battle against Fillmore Central (Geneva, NE). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 1-17 record. In their last battle, Fillmore Central lost by Sutton (Sutton, NE), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Tigers clash with the Conestoga Cougars (Murray, NE) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, October 6. Falls City will attempt to advance on its 14-7 season record. The Cougars come into the battle with a 6-14 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Fort Calhoun (Fort Calhoun, NE).
