Falls City Tigers (Falls City, NE) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Johnson County Central Thunderbirds (Tecumseh, NE), 2-1 in a league match.

Next up, the Tigers battle the Elmwood-Murdock Knights (Murdock, NE) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, September 6. Falls City will attempt to advance on its 5-0 season record. The Knights come into the match with a 2-3 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Freeman (Adams, NE).

With the loss, Johnson County Central drops to 3-3 on the campaign.
