The Johnson County Central Thunderbirds held off the host Thayer Central Titans volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Thunderbirds now have a 14-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Exeter-Milligan for a non-league test on Saturday, October 1. Johnson County Central will confront a Timberwolves team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Kenesaw (Kenesaw, NE). The Timberwolves record now stands at 9-6.
