October 1, 2024: Longmeadow, MA 01106 Longmeadow Lancers (Longmeadow, MA) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Central Golden Eagles (Springfield, MA), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Longmeadow advances its record to 5-2 on the season. The Lancers host Minnechaug Regional (Wilbraham, MA) to face the Falcons in a non-league test on Wednesday, October 2. The Falcons go into the test with a record of 3-2. Minnechaug Regional won 2-1 in their recent league test against Amherst-Pelham Regional (Amherst, MA)
The Golden Eagles now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Westfield for a non-league test on Wednesday, October 2. Central will face a Bombers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Frontier Regional (South Deerfield, MA). The Bombers record now stands at 4-4.
