September 9, 2024: Westfield, MA 01085 The Central Golden Eagles volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Westfield Bombers to 1 in the Golden Eagles non-league triumph on Monday.
The Golden Eagles now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Frontier Regional for a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 11. Central will play a Red Hawks team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Amherst-Pelham Regional (Amherst, MA). The Red Hawks record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Westfield drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Bombers host Minnechaug Regional (Wilbraham, MA) to play the Falcons in a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 11. The Falcons come into the outing with a record of 0-0.
