The Brighton Bulldogs triumphed over the host Mountain Range Mustangs softball squad by a count of 17-4 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs play the Northglenn Norsemen (Northglenn, CO) in a 5A/4A Rocky Mountain challenge, on Thursday, October 3. Brighton will attempt to upgrade on its 13-6 season record. The Norsemen enter the challenge with a 9-10 record after their 16-9 league win over Boulder (Boulder, CO).

The Mustangs (4-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Loveland (Loveland, CO). The Red Wolves enter the non-league challenge with a 8-12 record. In their last challenge, Loveland was routed by Greeley West (Greeley, CO), 10-0, in a league challenge.
