In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Marion Giants volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Anderson Indians.

The Giants (5-17) will now prepare for their challenge against Peru (Peru, IN). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 9-13 record. In their last challenge, Peru was beaten by Logansport (Logansport, IN), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Indians meet the Blackford Bruins (Hartford City, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 3. Anderson will attempt to upgrade on its 0-11 season record. The Bruins come into the challenge with a 8-17 record after their 3-0 league loss to Mississinewa (Gas City, IN).
