Illinois High School Volleyball - Bloom over Thornridge
October 1, 2024: Dolton, IL 60419 In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Bloom Blazing Trojan volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Thornridge Falcons.
The Blazing Trojan (6-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Thornton (Harvey, IL). The Wildcats enter the Southland challenge with a 3-8 record. In their last challenge, Thornton was beaten by Crete-Monee (Crete, IL), 2-1, in a league challenge.
Next, the Falcons meet the Thornwood Thunderbirds (South Holland, IL) in a Southland challenge, on Thursday, October 3. Thornridge will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Thunderbirds enter the challenge with a 9-13 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Thornton Fractional South (Lansing, IL).
