September 16, 2024: Chicago Heights, IL 60411 Thornwood Thunderbirds (South Holland, IL) followers left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Bloom Blazing Trojan (Chicago Heights, IL), 2-0 in a league test.
With the win, Thornwood advances its record to 5-4 on the season. The Thunderbirds host Bolingbrook (Bolingbrook, IL) to face the Raiders in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 17. The Raiders go into the test with a record of 6-7. Bolingbrook lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Lyons (LaGrange, IL)
The Blazing Trojan now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kankakee for a Southland test on Thursday, September 19. Bloom will face a Kays squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Thornton (Harvey, IL). The Kays record now stands at 4-8.
