October 1, 2024: Sylvania, OH 43560 Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Northview Wildcats (Sylvania, OH) and the visiting Findlay Trojans (Findlay, OH), observed Northview's volleyball team top Findlay by a tally of 3-1.
The Wildcats (6-11) will now prepare for their contest against Southview (Sylvania, OH). The Cougars enter the Northern Lakes contest with a 4-15 record. In their last contest, Southview was beaten by Napoleon (Napoleon, OH), 3-1, in a league contest.
Next, the Trojans meet the Napoleon Wildcats (Napoleon, OH) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, October 3. Findlay will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record. The Wildcats enter the contest with a 4-13 record after their 3-1 league win over Southview (Sylvania, OH).

SYLVANIA - On the 4th Annual Cats for Dogs match, it was the Cats defeating Findlay in four sets to move to 6-11 overall and 3-3 in the NLL Buckeye Division.
Tonight's play was led by Northview sophomore setter, Alayna Sauer, with 41 assists, 4 blocks, and 9 digs. The Northview pin hitters, senior Zoe Denny (14 kills) and junior Talia Twigg (12 kills), were superb in leading the offense. Sophomore middle blocker, Frankie Ramsdell-Washington added 11 kills and 5 blocks and senior, Zoey Johnson, added another 5 kills. Defensively, Northview's senior libero, Paige LaBudda, recorded a team-high 19 digs and senior defensive specialist, Claire Swartz, added 13. LaBudda also provided 4 of Northview's 14 aces, and sophomore, Kyra Ervin had 5 aces.
The Cats return to action on Thursday as they travel for the Crosstown Showdown vs. Southview.
