October 1, 2024: Belle, WV 25015 Nitro Wildcats (Nitro, WV) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Riverside Warriors (Belle, WV), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Nitro improves its record to 10-10 on the season. The Wildcats host South Harrison (Lost Creek, WV) to face the Hawks in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 1. The Hawks go into the test with a record of 11-8. South Harrison lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Philip Barbour (Philippi, WV)
The Warriors now own a 6-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Logan for a non-league test on Thursday, October 3. Riverside will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Buffalo (Buffalo, WV). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-12.
