Arizona High School Football - Sunrise Mountain sneaks past Yuma Catholic
October 1, 2025: Peoria, AZ 85382 The Sunrise Mountain Mustangs football squad scored 14 points and limited the visiting Yuma Catholic Shamrocks to 12 in the Mustangs league triumph on Wednesday.
The Mustangs now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Willow Canyon for a test on Wednesday, October 8. Sunrise Mountain will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 30-18 league win over West Point (Avondale, AZ). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-2.
With the defeat, Yuma Catholic drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Shamrocks host Apollo (Glendale, AZ) to meet the Hawks in a test on Wednesday, October 15. The Hawks come into the test with a record of 1-4.
