In Wednesday's non-league match, the Northern Guilford Nighthawks (Greensboro, NC) volleyball team knocked off the visiting Southwest Guilford Cowboys (High Point, NC), by a margin of 3-1.

The Nighthawks now possess a 16-2 record. They play next when they travel to Southern Guilford for a TAAC Six 5A/6A bout on Thursday, October 2. Northern Guilford will clash with a Storm team coming off a 3-2 league win over Eastern Guilford (Gibsonville, NC). The Storm record now stands at 5-11.
