October 2, 2023: New Castle, DE 19720 The McKean Highlanders volleyball team (Wilmington, DE), went down 3-1 in Monday's non-league challenge with the host William Penn Colonials (New Castle, DE)
The Colonials (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Appoquinimink (West Middletown, DE). The Jaguars enter the non-league challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Appoquinimink went down by Middletown (Middletown, DE), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Highlanders encounter the Glasgow Dragons (Newark, DE) in a Blue Hen Flight - B challenge, on Wednesday, October 4. McKean will attempt to move on its 3-5 season record. The Dragons enter the challenge with a 0-8 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to The Gunston School (Centreville, MD).
