North Carolina High School Football - Lincolnton beat Newton-Conover

October 2, 2024: Lincolnton, NC 28092

The Lincolnton Wolves football squad scored 36 points and limited the visiting Newton-Conover Red Devils to 21 in the Wolves league triumph on Wednesday.

The Wolves now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bandys for a 2A Catawba Valley test on Saturday, October 5. Lincolnton will clash with a Trojans squad coming off a 17-15 league win over West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 4-0.

With the defeat, Newton-Conover drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Red devils host East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC) to clash with the Cavaliers in a 2A Catawba Valley test on Friday, October 4. The Cavaliers come into the test with a record of 1-3. East Burke lost 43-6 in their recent league test against Maiden (Maiden, NC)
