October 2, 2025: Leavenworth, KS 66048 Shawnee Heights Thunderbirds (Tecumseh, KS) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team overwhelm the host Leavenworth PIONEERS (Leavenworth, KS), 12-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Shawnee Heights advances its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds travel to St. Mary's Academy (St. Marys, KS) to clash with the Crusaders in a non-league test on Monday, October 6. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 5-7. St. Mary's Academy won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Kansas City East Christian Academy (Kansas City, MO)
