October 14, 2025: Tecumseh, KS 66542 The Shawnee Heights Thunderbirds soccer squad scored 6 points and held the visiting Hayden Wildcats to 1 in the Thunderbirds non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Thunderbirds now hold a 11-1 record. They play next when they travel to Blue Valley Southwest for a non-league bout on Thursday, October 16. Shawnee Heights will play a Timberwolves squad coming off a 6-1 non-league win over Life Prep (Park City, KS). The Timberwolves record now stands at 6-3.
The Wildcats (1-13) will now prepare for their game against Emporia (Emporia, KS). The Spartans come into the Centennial game with a 7-4 record. In their last game, Emporia was overwhelmed by Washburn Rural (Topeka, KS), 8-0, in a league game.
