September 11, 2025: Topeka, KS 66612 Shawnee Heights Thunderbirds (Tecumseh, KS) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Topeka Trojans (Topeka, KS), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Shawnee Heights moves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds travel to De Soto (De Soto, KS) to clash with the Wildcats in a United Kansas test on Tuesday, September 16. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 0-3. De Soto lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Washburn Rural (Topeka, KS)
The Trojans now sport a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to St. Mary's Academy for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 18. Topeka will confront a Crusaders squad coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Emporia (Emporia, KS). The Crusaders record now stands at 4-4.
