October 20, 2025: Tecumseh, KS 66542 The Shawnee Heights Thunderbirds smashed the visiting St. Mary's Academy Crusaders soccer squad by a margin of 5-0 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Thunderbirds now hold a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Basehor-Linwood for a United Kansas contest on Tuesday, October 21. Shawnee Heights will encounter a Bobcats squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Ottawa (Ottawa, KS). The Bobcats record now stands at 3-10.
With the loss, St. Mary's Academy moves to 8-8 on the year. The Crusaders travel to Emporia (Emporia, KS) to face the Spartans in a non-league contest on Tuesday, October 21. The Spartans enter the contest with a record of 8-4. Emporia won 9-1 in their recent non-league contest against South (Wichita, KS)
