In Thursday's non-league match, the Chelsea Hornets (Chelsea, AL) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Briarwood Christian Lions (Birmingham, AL), by a score of 2-1.

With the win, Chelsea improves its record to 14-14 on the season. The Hornets travel to Lawrence County (Moulton, AL) to encounter the Red Devils in a non-league battle on Saturday, October 4.
