In Thursday's league match, the Helix Highlanders (La Mesa, CA) volleyball squad overcame the host El Capitan Vaqueros (Lakeside, CA), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Highlanders battle the Preuss UCSD Tritons (La Jolla, CA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 4. Helix will attempt to improve on its 5-12 season record.
