The North Davidson Black Knights football squad scored 16 points and limited the visiting Montgomery Central Timberwolves to 8 in the Black Knights non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Black Knights now hold a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Oak Grove for a non-league test on Thursday, October 10. North Davidson will meet a Grizzlies squad coming off a 21-0 non-league win over Asheboro (Asheboro, NC). The Grizzlies record now stands at 4-1.

With the defeat, Montgomery Central drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Timberwolves host Ledford (Thomasville, NC) to meet the Panthers in a non-league test on Thursday, October 10. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 2-4. Ledford lost 35-6 in their recent non-league test against Central Davidson (Lexington, NC)
