East Poinsett County Warriors (Lepanto, AR) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host McCrory Jaguars (McCrory, AR), 32-12 in a league battle.

With the win, East Poinsett County advances its record to 4-1 on the season. The Warriors travel to Cross County (Cherry Valley, AR) to play the Thunderbirds in a 2A Region 2 battle on Friday, October 10. The Thunderbirds go into the battle with a record of 4-1. Cross County won 53-6 in their recent league battle against Izard County (Brockwell, AR)

The Jaguars now have a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Izard County for a 2A Region 2 battle on Friday, October 10. McCrory will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 53-6 league loss to Cross County (Cherry Valley, AR). The Cougars record now stands at 1-4.
