New Jersey High School Football - Hoboken tops Verona

October 3, 2025: Verona, NJ 07043

The Hoboken Redwings football squad scored 32 points and limited the host Verona Hillbillies to 14 in the Redwings league triumph on Friday.

The Redwings now sport a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Newark Central for a Super - National Red test on Friday, October 10. Hoboken will meet a Blue Devils squad coming off a 50-2 non-league win over Orange (Orange, NJ). The Blue Devils record now stands at 4-2.

With the defeat, Verona drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Hillbillies travel to New Providence (New Providence, NJ) to face the Pioneers in a non-league challenge on Friday, October 10. The Pioneers enter the challenge with a record of 6-0. New Providence won 46-7 in their recent non-league challenge against Middlesex (Middlesex, NJ)
