The Glen Ridge Ridgers football squad scored 35 points and limited the host Verona Hillbillies to 6 in the Ridgers league triumph on Friday.

The Ridgers now hold a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dwight Morrow for a non-league test on Saturday, October 25. Glen Ridge will meet a Maroon Raiders squad coming off a 28-6 league loss to Mahwah (Mahwah, NJ). The Maroon Raiders record now stands at 3-5.

With the defeat, Verona moves to 2-6 on the season. The Hillbillies travel to Shabazz (Newark, NJ) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Friday, October 24. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a record of 6-1. Shabazz won 28-14 in their recent non-league challenge against Kinnelon (Kinnelon, NJ)
